Abortion

After a few weeks of seeing the different view points of pro life and pro choice, it all comes down to one final standpoint on the issue of abortion. When looking at the viewpoints of NARAL- Prochoice America and National Right to Life, I believe  the argument of National Right to Life was by far better than the opposing side.  It was a lot more understanding and convincing because it gave a lot of specific details of the process of abortion and other painful methods to begin the phase.  The process of how abortion works makes you want to crumble and shake in anxiety because of the graphic description of pain it gives to the mother of the child.  It makes you sick to take such a risky method. The pro life side itself is winning because of the facts it gives to the audience and its graphic description of horrific methods of it.  It influences my opinion on this issue because I am a devout Christian myself and in my belief, it is dishonor to the God that I believe in.  And the fact that murdering an innocent child is considered immoral both religiously and socially.
As a newly 18 year old student, I think that these positions give a lot of conflict and verbal wars about this serious issue in America.  The debate itself has been around mfor many decades in its history and it continues today without a clear answer if its legal or illegal.  The parent should have a right to know that his or her daughter is pregnant because not only is she his or her flesh and blood, she still lives at her parents house either high school or college student because as long as she lives in the house and is dependent of her parents, her parenst have to know and still should abide by their rules.  They also have a right to consent it as well because again she still is dependent on her parents and still resides with them.
For a father, he does not need any requirement whatsoever to benotified about his daughter's decision of abortion and he has every single right to consent to it because she lives under his roof and abides by his rules as well as being dependent on him.
After reading the Illinois Abortion Laws, the laws itself are understandable and specific on pro life and choice.  The laws that I agree with are unconstitutional and unrenforceable ban on abortion, anti choice policy statement, refusal to provide medical services, and restrictions on young women's access to abortion.  The laws that I would change are guaranteed access to prescriptions, states' constitutional protection, and low- income women's ccess to abortion.
